Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Wings

 


Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Frying pan
  • Tongs
  • Paper towels

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes (or longer if you have time).
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the marinated chicken wings for about 4-5 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the wings from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
